VPhA Student Pharmacist Membership Overview
VPhA is the Voice for Pharmacists and Student Pharmacists in Virginia!
VPhA serves student members by explaining and promoting effective lobbying techniques so members can contact their local representative individually and encourage pharmacy’s agenda. This opportunity presents itself on VPhA’s annual Legislative day, where VPhA members can network one on one with members of the Commonwealth House and Senate. Additionally, VPhA promotes student programs which encourage voter registration, get out to vote campaigns, and participation in state government.
Student pharmacists cannot afford to sit-back and expect employers and schools to advocate the profession of pharmacy for you…each and every student pharmacist must step forward and speak out in concert with pharmacists and other health care professionals on key issues that affect the lives and well being of patients and patient providers.
